1. Harry Potter/Hermione Granger

I’ve shipped Harmony since I was ten. I immediately felt a connection towards Hermione and I really liked Harry and as the story went on, I really liked their friendship. I just felt drawn towards them. They’ve always had this strong connection and are always there for each other. It was Harry that wanted to go and tell Hermione about the troll, even though they weren’t friends yet. Time after time, Hermione is always noticing when Harry’s upset even when others don’t. She’s the one who stays with him in the forest. Harry seeks her out when she’s upset about Ron being with Lavender. They’ve always stuck together. I’ve tried reading the books and seeing Ron/Hermione, but I just can’t. I was honestly shocked when book six happened, I really was. Call me delusional if you want, but the way I saw it all roads led to Harmony. When she’s being tortured, yes, Ron is crying out for her, but Harry is frantically trying to figure out a way to save her. Rowling describes her screams going through Harry like “physical pain”. When Hermione is seen with Krum in book four, Rowling spends a paragraph describing how pretty Harry thinks she looks, his jaw literally drops. Hermione’s fierce loyalty is to Harry and no one else. She made good on her promise to stay with him, even when the man she loved was leaving. That just speaks volumes to me.I will go down with this ship forever.
